Are you ready to get started with SAP GUI on your Windows machine? In this guide, I'll walk you through the steps to download and install SAP GUI for Windows. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refresh your memory, this guide is designed to be simple and easy to follow.
Step 1: Download SAP GUI
Two options are available. Option one is the official way which requires a valid S-User while option two is downloading from a Google Drive link available to anyone.
Option 1: Download from the Official SAP Website
To download SAP GUI directly from the official SAP website, you'll need an S-user ID, which is provided to SAP customers and partners. If you have an S-user ID with sufficient authorization, you can follow these steps:
Visit the SAP Me software center
2. Log in using your S-user credentials.
3. Expand the menu "By Category" > "SAP Frontend Components" > SAP GUI For Windows> Installation > Download
Option 2: Download from Google Drive
If you don’t have an S-user ID, you can search on Google and you'll find many download links.

Step 2: Install SAP GUI on Windows
Once you’ve downloaded the SAP GUI installation package, follow these simple steps to install it on your Windows PC:
Extract the ZIP File: right-click on it and select "Extract All..." to extract the files to a new folder.
Run the SetupAll file:
Open the extracted folder.
Find the SetupAll file as belowÂ
3. Install SAP GUI and Business Explorer only
